AT YESLIBERA, WE EMPOWER YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH MEANINGFUL SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES IN EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, AND TECHNOLOGY.
We're a registered charity in Liberia, and a USA-- 501c3 charity organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service since July 2009. All donations are tax-deductible.
Conviction created YesLiberia. Daily the needs of underprivileged are ignored. We ignore their struggles because it’s easier to focus on other things in our lives— like climbing the corporate ladder and saving money so we don’t become indigent, or making sure we have a gym membership. And some of us ignore their challenges because they bring back unpleasant memories we seek to repress. But disregarding the plight of the underprivileged yields no resolution. Then certain things happen to remind us their struggles exist no matter how hard we try to pretend our needs surpass theirs.
my tribal and economic status and where my education came as a gift from the United Methodist Church. Reminded, I became convicted to act and YesLiberia was founded to educate and help underprivileged Liberians whose plight I intimately understood. Over the years we’ve been blessed with amazing people like you because of the grace of God. YESLiberia serves the next generation of Liberian leaders by paying their tuition and fees, fostering service learning opportunities, delivering leadership trainings, and encouraging volunteerism. At YESLiberia, we believe empowerment starts with you.

Founder/Executive Director
We believe in transparent communication, and take full responsibility for our actions and decisions. We always initiate our projects with measurable indicators and report on them with integrity.
We believe that “paying it forward” creates a culture of generosity that improves the quality of life in the communities in which we work – at home and abroad.
We believe that a collaborative approach that unites us with our community partners, donors, and students can make a meaningful impact on the future of Liberia.
We believe that engaging and encouraging youth at home and abroad in service-based education will create a better future for everyone.
With their combined years of incredible experiences and passion for service, our advisory board helps us lift the heavy stones we cannot lift by ourselves by opening windows of support. We are thankful to God for their services.
Our executive board members possess four traits: 1) a good character, 2) a strong commitment to our cause, 3) the gift of time,
and 4) a willingness to use personal and professional resources to advance YesLiberia’s mission.
